On the Liberation of Sound
‘On the Liberation of Sound’ is a 25min installation created as part of a commission from RMIT, it was originally written as a multi-channel ambisonic work and unfortunately does not come across as well as a ‘flat’ stereo file, however I hope you can still hear some of the spatialisation given to the work through a good pair of headphones.
Whittlesea Sound Project
Three short compositions created as part of the Whittlesea Sound Project, headed by Gary McKie. Various composers used the same selections of raw audio material to produce sound works with varying degrees of abstraction from the source audio.
